Inauguration of CCAP Urban in Logar Province

General Director of the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) Mr. Shamim Khan Katawazai, Mr. Najib Amiri – Director of Urban Citizen Charter and Mr. Abdul Bari Ahmadzai – operation director of urban Citizens’ Charter met with Logar Provincial Governor – Mr. Abdul Qayoum Rahimi, provincial authorities, and the public figures during a visit aimed to inaugurate CCAP’s Provincial Management Unit (PMU) in Logar provincial capital Pul-e-Alam.

During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Katawazai congratulated provincial administration and the people for opening CCAP provincial PMU (Provincial Management Unit) in Logar province adding that the project will implement various projects which include construction of roads and streets, building electricity facilities and recreation parks, and empowering women in four Gozars through 20 CDCs in Logar provincial capital, Pul-e-Alam.

According to Mr. Katawazai, the government is constantly striving to ensure welfare, education and developmental of people. CCAP is aimed to engage people and communities in decision making and development activities through selecting projects based on their priorities.

Concluding the program, Mr. Katawazai called upon communities and people in Logar province to provide provincial administration with continuous and full support to manageof relevant affairs.
