A total of 4,600 labor days have been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the implementation of the road project which also encompasses construction of a 360-meter retaining wall and 1,200 meters of concrete side ditches in Khairmini village.

The successful completion of the tertiary rural project has linked some 329 families to district center and rest of the communities in the region.

The Maintenance and Construction Cash Grant (MCCG) is a grant provided for communities to rehabilitate, extend existing or construct new public infrastructure subprojects, in such a manner that a minimum of 60% of the grant for the given community should be utilized for labor. The main objective of MCCG program is to create jobs to mitigate seasonal hunger during the lean season in the high Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) and Returnee influx areas.
