407 Families to Connect with the Neighboring Communities in Kabul

A suspension bridge worth more than five million Afghanis funded by the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) including 10% community contribution (financial, labor or in-kind) is under construction in Deh Naw village, Guldara district of Kabul province.

The 50-meter long and 1.5-meter wide bridge, supported by strong steel cables and a tower at each end will link a total of 407 families with the neighboring communities in the region upon its completion.

In addition, a total of 3,200 labor days have so far been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the implementation of the cable bridge through Deh Naw Community Development Council (CDC).

It shouldn’t be remained unsaid that hundreds of Citizens’ Charter-funded development projects are currently underway, while some of them have already been completed in various communities of Kabul province.
