100 Needy Families Receive Food Assistance in Samangan Province

Kabul, May 18, 2020 – The Community Trust Fund Committee of the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) has contributed food supplies worth AFN 170,000 at no cost to 100 impoverished families in Hazrat Sultan district of Samangan province.

The food commodities consisted of cooking oil, rice, sugar, potatoes, soap and tea were distributed to indigent families that were affected by Coronavirus disease in the district.

he Community Trust Fund Committee consisted of Citizens’ Charter Management Committee members and youth volunteers are established in the districts to help those who have been affected by COVID-19 in the vicinity.
