In district 5 of Kandahar City at the Gozer level, a project was inaugurated, and another project was put into services

In district five of Kandahar city, a  Guzar project was officially started and another was put into services. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Timor Sharan – IDLG Deputy Minister of Policy, Kandahar governor, Kandahar mayor, CCAP PMU officials and members of CDCs.

The first project was of Qalai Bost Guzar which has been completed and put into services. This project includes construction of 695 meter long and 10 meters wide road, 1390 meters pathway, 1390 meters drainage and 2780 slabs. The total cost of the project is around 11.44 million Afs funded by Citizen’s Charter National Priority Program (CCNPP).  

The second project which is going to be implemented by Kawsar Gozar includes construction of 900 meters long and 7 meters wide road. This project also includes construction and asphalting of a 3288 meter long and 8 meter wide road and 1310 meters drainage. The total cost of the project is around 10,7 million Afs funded by Citizen’s Charter National Priority Program (CCNPP). 

The residents of the area said that they are very happy for the CCNPP activities and added that most of their problems will be resolved after construction of the roads.
