Project activities of Wranga Gozar located in District Nine of Kandahar City Inaugurated

Wranga Gozar Development Council activities were officially inaugurated in District nine of Kandahar City. Based on the needs of the area the residents identified drinking water network project which will be extended through Citizen’s Charter Program.

Governor of Kandahar Mr. Hayatullah Hayat, Acting Mayor, Director of water supply directorate, Citizen’s Charter PMU, FP, CDC members and residents of the area attended the opening ceremony.

This project includes 22132 meters drinking water network extension which will be implemented by Wranga Gozar development council of citizen’s charter program and by its completion 1085 household will have access to safe drinking water.

Kandahar governor said that water is the basic need and component of life and we will support Citizen’s Charter Program to deliver MSS to the people, similarly the residents were also pleased and added that they have no access to clean drinking water in their area and with the implementation of this project their biggest problem can be solved.
