WORLD BANK DELEGATION VISITS CITIZENS’ CHARTER PROJECTS IN HERAT
In a series of visits from the activities of the program in Herat City, a delegation from the World Bank and officials of the Citizens Charter Program visited a drinking water project in Naseer Abad village, Karukh district. The residents of the Naseer Abad village welcomed and thanked the delegation and illuminated the importance and effectiveness of the project to the life of the villagers.
Visiting delegation was representatives of CCAP in World Bank, MoF, MRRD and IDLG, who visited two CDCs (Naseer Abad and Sayeed Ismail Development Councils) in Karukh district and talked about their activities. The council’s presented information on their achievements in health, education, agriculture, environment, youth, vulnerable groups and women’s role in Citizen’s Charter Program that attracted the attention of the delegation and delighted them.
